    QUICK START GUIDE

 

STEPS:

  1. Download the INN KONCERT app.
  2. Select the app icon to open the app and begin installation.
  3. The 'Notice to User' will be displayed. This notice is important as it briefly lists the three permission request messages that are about to open. These permissions are crucial for the app's functionality. The 'Notice to User' guides the upcoming permission requests, helping you understand their purpose. It will time out and close after a few seconds. Accepting all three permission requests is required to install the app successfully.
  4. The Splash screen, a brief introductory screen, will appear once the above screens have closed. This screen is a part of the app's loading process and indicates that the app is being prepared for use.
  5. After the Splash screen, you will be greeted by the Home screen, a simple and intuitive interface designed for your ease of use.
  6. Your black and white avatar will be at the top left of the Home screen. It is automatically selected for you. When you upgrade to the app's PRO version, your avatar will be in color.
  7. The app uses Bluetooth to connect phones. Ensure Bluetooth is turned ON.
  8. When selected, menus in the app will have a distinctive red border. If the red border is flashing, your input is required.
  9. The app operates in two search modes on the Home screen: Leader and Follower. A Leader can manage the phone's Camera LEDs for up to six Followers in their group.
  10. For security, Leaders must accept the Permission Request authorizations sent from their Followers. This can be done by tapping the Allow button on the Permission Request. Once accepted, the Leader temporarily gains control over the Follower's device. Control authorization requests are automatically created. A Leader can only control the phone's Camera LED and cannot take photos or access your data.
  11. The app opens in Follower mode by default. When in Follower mode, the app searches for a Leader, and the Follower button has a red border. The Status field at the top of the Home screen shows ‘Searching for Leader.’ This field provides real-time updates on the app's current mode and its search for a Leader’s group to join.
  12. There can only be one Leader per group. If no Leader has been assigned to a group, you can become the Leader by selecting the Leader button. The Leader button will then have a red border. In this mode, the app will search for Followers to join your group. The Status field will display ‘Searching for Follower.'
  13. Only a Leader can select from the four Activity Buttons on the Home screen:
  1. LED - Turns device(s) Camera LED ON or OFF.
  2. Strobe -This slider switch controls the Camera LED flashing rate. The Left is slow, and the right is fast.
  3. Sync - Listens to music and, if loud enough, flashes the Camera LED in sync with the music.
  4. Chaser - This is like a Mexican Wave but with light. We like to call it the Mexican Lightwave. A pulse of LED light flows to the connected devices.
  1. Switching between Follower and Leader is a quick and easy way to disconnect from a device. Closing the app, selecting Aeroplane Mode, or turning off Bluetooth will also disconnect the device from other devices.
  2. Bluetooth uses power. For best results, charge your phone’s battery before using the app.
